Criticality Calculation Spreadsheet

An organization must define which of its assets are most critical in order to focus its maintenance efforts. Assets with the highest probability of failure (POF) and consequence of failure (COF) come with the highest risk. These assets are most critical to the stormwater system. Use this spreadsheet to calculate the criticality score for each asset based on its POF and COF rankings and redundancy score. Detailed instructions are provided to assist in these calculations.

Asset Inventory Spreadsheet

This asset inventory spreadsheet allows you to identify the physical assets that make up your system. Information collected includes: the location of the assets, the useful remaining life of each asset, the value of the assets, their current condition, and whether or not they require energy. The starting point for the inventory should be to inspect and inventory particular asset classes, such as your stormwater conveyance system and your stormwater treatment system. This inventory will allow you to make informed decisions about the management of your assets.
