Green infrastructure installation to date has focused on public, private, and commercial spaces. The Ecosystem Engineering Design Lab at the University of Maryland (UMD) is excited to announce a Green Infrastructure Research & Incentives Workshop at WaterShed, UMD’s 2011 winning sustainable home for the Solar Decathlon Competition. Part I is geared to providing homeowners, regulators, practitioners and other stakeholders an overview of green infrastructure, and research on the performance of WaterShed’s systems. Part II will showcase current incentives offered by local agencies and a panel discussion with green infrastructure experts.
