First United Methodist Church Parking Lot Retrofit

Project location: Hyattsville, MD

Problem: The parking lot of First United Methodist Church in Hyattsville was prone to flooding, and polluted runoff from the lot was entering the local waterway Wells Run.  In addition, the parking lot experienced frequent cut-through traffic, which created unsafe conditions for pedestrians.

Annapolis Visitor Center Permeable Parking Court

Project location: Annapolis, MD

Problem: Visitors to Maryland’s historic state capital often stop at the Annapolis Visitor Center before exploring the rest of the city.  Unfortunately, the Center’s parking lot was poorly accessible, unattractive, and prone to flooding (or becoming iced-over in winter).
